Refunds

Tuition and fees for regular length semester courses are refunded according to the following schedule. The registration fee ($12) is not refunded.

For Course Withdrawals, this is the refund schedule:

Fall courses starting Mon., August 25, ending December  15:
Prior to Mon., Aug 25 - 100%
Mon., Aug. 25 through Thurs., Sept. 11 - 70%
Fri., Sept. 12 through Tues., Sept. 16 - 25%
After Tues., Sept. 16 - None

Mini-mester courses starting Mon., Dec. 15, ending Fri., Jan. 2:
Prior to Mon., Dec. 15 - 100%
Mon., Dec. 15 through Wed., Dec. 17 - 70%
Thurs., Dec 18 - 25%
After  Thurs., Dec. 18 - None

Refunds for tuition are processed from Lone Star College System Office four to six weeks after the official day of record. The official day of record for semester-length Fall 2008 classes is September 8. Not all refunds are mailed; those paying with credit/debit cards have refunds credited back to the card account.
