 Cookbook - The ALL Cookbook Class  created cookbooks of favorite family recipes.  Here the class members show off their cookbooks.



Garden Tour - ALL students enjoyed a Garden Tour at Mercer Arboretum.  The group stopped along the one of the paths* at the Mercer Arboretum to get a closer look .  Another good viewing point was from one of the bridges* .  Some plants*  were best viewed up close.

Truly Texan - Members of the Sons of the Republic of Texas are collaborating with ALL to provide creative and colorful lectures in the Truly Texan Series.


Texas Chili - ALL students, including Donna Smith Burns, ALL program manager, learned how to cook real Texas chili from instructor and Texas native, Martha Haydel. 


Daytrippers - Members of Daytrippers meet monthly to organize and take day trips in the Houston area. Over 50 people are enrolled.  See photos from recent trips to the Rose Emporium, Mushroom Festival, Navisota Community Theater, and Waldon Yacht Club.  Looks like they had a great time!


Tai Chi - Recently, Pam Baylis and Jim Shoelen, members of Lone Star College-Montgomery’s continuing education Tai Chi course, took part in the 11th annual World Tai Chi and Qigong Day, held in Town Green Park in The Woodlands. Baylis and Shoelen were just two of the 40 local attendees taking part in this worldwide event.   Course instructor David Neighbors said Tai Chi has tremendous medical benefits and has been proven as the most effective balance and coordination conditioner in the world.   LSC-Montgomery will offer Tai Chi this summer, beginning Wednesday, June 2.
