All visits must take place during open lab hours. No exceptions.
Basic in-class assistance with various technology tasks is available with advance request to TLC Labs Manager. Please contact the TLC Labs Manager, Georges Detiveaux (mailto: Georges.J.Detiveaux@LoneStar.edu) at least one week in advance of the visit for which you would like in-class assistance, and, where possible, your request will be accommodated.
Class times are either 50 minutes or 80 minutes, and will begin on the hour or the half-hour. Classes may be booked for a maximum of two visits a week in the regular (fall/spring) semester or three visits a week in the summer terms.
Instructors must request the labs using the online lab reservation request form below. Requests must be made at least two lab business days in advance. No visit is confirmed until you have received confirmation via an Outlook calendar invitation from the TLC Labs. In the event of a conflict, you may expect a reschedule request.
These labs may also be used for instructional training in innovative technologies and other training purposes. Other groups on campus without an instructional focus (clubs, staff meetings, etc.) seeking computer lab space will be accommodated if the TLC labs are available, but all are expected to follow the same conditions above, as well as all TLC Labs user policies.
Instructor/facilitator of the class/training fills out the form below for all visits requested and clicks on submit. The TLC Labs staff will review the request and process via Outlook calendar event invitations. If there is a conflict, you will be informed to request rescheduling. Please alert us within 24 hours of any cancellations in case other classes are in need of the space. If your request encompasses more visits than the form allows, continue your requests again on the same site once you have submitted the form with your first group of visit requests.
