Wedding Planner Certification Course at LSC-North Harris

Nearly 190,000 Texas couples will get married this year and spend $5.7 billion in the process. Full-service Certified Wedding & Event Planners will be paid an average of $2,000 per wedding to help couples realize their wedding day dreams while maintaining their wedding budgets.

Lone Star College - North Harris Campus offers a certification course in partnership with the Wedding Planning Institute geared toward the entrepreneurial-minded individual who aspires to join or start his or her own business in the exciting filed of wedding and event planning. As a graduate, you will have the advantage of taking control of your financial future while doing the work you love. After, successfully completing the class you will receive a certificate of completion from both LSC-North Harris and the Wedding Planner Institute. In addition, students will receive a letter of recommendation. There are no pre-requisites for this course.

Wedding Planner Certification

The Wedding Planning Institutes fast track certification program is the industry standard for individuals looking to get started in the wedding and event planning business right away. Topics include, business planning for the wedding planner, wedding styles, signatures and themes. As well as wedding etiquette in America, vendors and contracts, stationary, attire, public relations, introduction to sales and marketing, reception logistics, cakes and desserts, music, photography, decorations, wedding favors, pre and post celebrations and expanding business revenue streams.
