Lone Star College-North Harris Academy of Lifelong Learning is hosting an Appreciation Coffee and Open House with LSC-North Harris President, Dr. Steve Head on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 8:30 to 11 a.m., in CE-101. The event is free and open to the community-both current members and those wishing to find out more about the wide-variety of ALL's programs and membership.
As part of the open house, special guest, Candice Twyman of the Better Business Bureau, will be presenting a "Consumer Awareness" session.

ALL is a membership community, which provides free or low-cost classes and activities throughout the year for seniors 50+ years of age. Membership cost is $15 dollars a year. The next membership period starts Sept. 1, 2008 through Aug. 31, 2009. Residents may join at any time of year.
During the month of August, Lone Star College-North Harris' Academy of Lifelong Learning offers all of its courses free of charge to the community. You do not have to be a member to participate, but registration is required.
