Lone Star College System’s Associate Degree Nursing Programs are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. (ACEN) http://www.nlnac.org/home.htm.   The ACEN is responsible for the specialized accreditation of nursing education programs.  The Commission has authority and accountability for carrying out the responsibilities inherent in the application of standards and criteria, accreditation processes, and the affairs, management, policy-making, and general administration of the ACEN.  The ACEN is nationally recognized as a specialized accrediting agency for both post-secondary and higher degree programs in nursing education.  Questions, comments, or concerns can be sent to the ACEN at nlnac@nlnac.org or through the contact information below.
