  • Why did you join this organization? I wanted to get more involved.
  • What are your personal  goals for the semester? I would like to recieve straight A's, have good attendance, and learn to enjoy school.
  • What are your goals for the organization? To spread awareness of ceramics and the clay club, and to fulfill all of my responsibilities.
  • What are your career interests? Fashion and costume design.
  • What are your hobbies outside of school? I work out, sew, sketch, and cook.

I graduated from Kingwood High School in 2010, and I am planning to transfer to Texas State University after my 2010-2011 year at Lone Star College-Kingwood. I want to major in fashion merchandising and minor in business then enroll in FIT or Parsons in New York, which are both top fashion schools, upon graduating from Texas.

  • Why did you join this organization? To enrich my life with the knowledge of ceramics.
  • What are your personal goals for this semester? To exceed my own expectations.
  • What are your goals for the organization? To promote an interest in ceramics.
  • What are your career interests? To further technological developments.
  • What are your hobbies outside of school? Computers, reading and writing.

I was born on the second day of the 12th month of 1986. Some time later, I joined the clay club.

  • Why did you join this organization? I love making things with clay.
  • What are your personal goals for the semester? To sharpen my artistic skills.
  • What are your career interests? I would like to enter graphic design or be an art teacher.
  • What are your hobbies outside of school? Painting, writing songs, playing guitar, and screen-printing.

Casey Cope, Treasurer

Major: Arts
Hometown: Humble, TX

  • Why did you join this organization? I joined the organization  because I love to be involved in my favorite activities.
  • What are your personal goals fo the semester? My goals for the semester consist of bettering my skills and knowledge of ceramics and glazes.
  • What are your goals for the organization? To raise more money for the organization and to try and get more students involved in ceramics.
  • What is your career interests? My career interests are teaching the arts of clay and ceramics, as well as vocal lessons.
  • What are your hobbies outside of school? Arts! If I am not at work or at school, I am most likely at home working on art work.

I am an all-arts-major-to-be. Since first grade, I have taken art classes, choir, and theatre every year. It amazes me that even after all of these years of arts, I am still learning new tricks. I highly suggest for students to take an art class.
