Various Dates NEH Landmarks of American History Workshops
The National Endowment for the Humanities awarded several faculty members summer research fellowships. The research topics covered a wide variety of historical subject matter from Native American reservations, Mississippi Civil Rights movement, New York harbor's industrial growth and the lasting legacy of the Pacific War. A NEH goal is to broaden people's understanding of these events. These WOW presentations would meet this agenda and provide valuable insight and recent historical interpretation to our college and local community about these important periods in our nation's history.
