Lone Star College's Office of Technology Services (OTS) provides backup and restore services to help reduce the risk of losing data.
All server OS, database and user files are backed up either on tape or disk. Snapshots are enabled on user/group datastores for user based recovery.
Recoverability of corrupt or lost data
Backup Retention: 1 Year for ERP Data; 3 month for User/Group Data; 3 week for OS and SQL data.
What to Expect?
Data stored on network drives/servers is recoverable.
