Utilization & Up/Down statistics are collected from the various routers, switches,
and other network gear comprising the LSCS network. Services are monitored
and alerts are sent to the appropriate individuals/groups if action is needed to
restore communications or connectivity.
All server operating systems, storage hardware and Tier I services are actively
monitored and alert on-call personnel when required.
