Seminar Rooms
How do I reserve a room?
What are the rules for reserving rooms?
- Only reserved to students, staff, and faculty members.
- LSCS ID required for students.
- Faculty, staff and study groups (registered with the Learning Center) may book a room for an entire semester when reoccurring appointments are needed.
- Individual students may only book up to 1 week in advance.
- A maximum of 3 hours of reservation time is available per reservation, unless special permission granted by the tutor coordinator.
- Rooms must be booked to use, even if not currently occupied.
- Rooms must be unlocked for use and closed when not in use. The receptionist can unlock the room for booked users.
- Individuals must complete a contact form (to be obtained from the receptionist) for each visit. The form must be returned to the receptionist at the end of each session.
- The person reserving the room is responsible for any damages.
- Rooms empty for 10 minutes after the reservation time will be open for reservations to other students, staff, or faculty.
- After 2 No Shows students, staff, or faculty member will need to see the tutor coordinator for approval to book rooms.
