Study Abroad Scholarship

Lone Star College System offers the Study Abroad Student Scholarship for participation in a study abroad experience that normally takes place within a one to three week period.

• Each student must complete and submit the following documents to their study abroad faculty member:

Study Abroad Student Program Application

• Each student must complete a FAFSA application.  Please note the FAFSA application can take up to 10 days to complete from start to finish.  Please allow adequate time to complete this aspect of the application before the due date.  International students must submit alternative documentation to prove financial need.

• Please use the Check List for the Study Abroad Student Scholarship Application to ensure you have all of the materials needed to complete your application on time. 

• The deadline date to submit your application is the first monday in November every year.
