Faculty Study Abroad Handbook
The purpose of this handbook is to provide all faculty members interested in study abroad with a useful guide to facilitate the development of study abroad programs in their area of expertise. Lone Star College System suppports faculty efforts to add an international dimension to students educational experience to ensure that they are prepared to compete and succeed in a global environment.
The specific objectives of the handbook are to:
- Assist faculty in developing faculty-led study abroad opportunities
- Assure compliance with Lone Star College System policies and procedures
- Assure compliance with the State of Texas, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) rules and regulations
- Assure compliance with recommendations of the Risk Management Committee
