Adjunct Instructor of Theatre

Courtney Young is an adjunct Professor at Lone Star College-Montgomery and University of Houston. She completed her Master’s in Voice Studies from Central School of Speech and Drama in London and her Bachelor’s from University of Utah. Ms. Young has been a Guest Artist for the International Thespian Festival since 2009 and is an Editor for the International Dialects of English Archive. Recent coaching credits include: As You Like It (Houston Shakespeare Festival) Somebody/Nobody, Peter Pan, Jekyll and Hyde (LSC-M), Lend Me A Tenor, Dearly Beloved (Crighton Theatre), Something Wicked This Way Comes (Utah Valley University), Steel Magnolias (Provo Theatre Co), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (University of Utah). Ms. Young also works as a freelance dialect coach for film and television. She recently completed work on two films, Come Back and See Us, and Black and White.
