Important Dates - Spring Cohort [9 months]

Applications are due Monday, January 5, 2015. A maximum of 20 students are accepted to the program each year.

  • Interviews will be conducted Tuesday, January 6 through Thursday, January 8, 2015.
  • The program orientation will be conducted on Friday, January 9, 2015. 
  • Spring semester classes begin Monday, January 12, 2015.
  • Cohort Program Takes 9 months to complete
  • Graduation takes place October 2015.

Tentative Program Schedule (subject to change)

1st Semester [January - May] 16 weeks:    
  • Mondays & Wednesdays 9:00 am 2:10 pm 
  • Tuesdays (or) Thursdays 9:00 am 12:00 pm [students register for either Tuesday or Thursday for the community pharmacy practice lab]
  • Clinical I begins during the last 8 weeks of the semester which requires the student to complete 160 hours at their assigned retail pharmacy clinical site

2nd Semester [May-August] 14 weeks:

  • Mondays & Wednesday 9 10:45 am [with an option to have IV Admixture lab on Mondays (or) Wednesdays from 11 am 2:25pm] 
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays 10  11:45 am [with an option to have Institutional Practice lab on Tuesdays (or) Thursdays Noon 3:25 pm]

3rd Semester [August - October] 8 weeks :

  • Clinical II begins during the first 8 weeks of the semester and requires the student to complete 160 hours at their assigned hospital  pharmacy clinical site by the end of October 
  • Tuesdays from 9 11:00 am students will be taking the Pharmacy Technician Certification course for 8 weeks
