Registered Student Organizations (RSOs)

Requirements for RSOs to receive Student Life funds

RSOs can earn up to $600 from Student Life each fall and spring semester by completing the items below. Funds are transferred from Student Life into club accounts each semester.  Club accounts carry over from year to year, not zeroed out at the end of each fiscal year.

All Core Requirements must be completed for a club to earn any Student Life money. 


Base Funds - Core Requirements - Fall Semester  $200
To receive any funds, RSOs must complete ALL of the following:
-RSO Annual/Registration
-President Agreement Form
-Advisor Agreement Form
-Risk Management Training (Advisor attends training at Advisor Meeting, at least 2 Officers receive training at RSO Workshop, information shared with members at RSO meeting.)
-Membership Roster (due the Friday of Finals Week)

Base Funds - Core Requirements - Spring Semester  $200
To receive any funds, RSO must complete ALL of the following:
-RSO Annual/Registration (if RSO completed this in the Fall, it does not need to be re-submitted, unless there are changes in any information)
-President Agreement Form (unless completed in the Fall)
-Advisor Agreement Form (unless completed in the Fall)
-Risk Management Training (unless completed in the Fall)
-Membership Roster (due the Friday of Finals Week)
-RSO Year-End Report (due May 31)

Additional Funds - Fall & Spring Semester $400
RSOs can earn funds above the base amount each Fall and Spring semester by completing the following:
-Attend SGA Meetings (4/semester at $50/meeting=$200)
-Participate in Involvement Fair (2 days at $50/day=$100)
-Complete a community service project (must submit Event Registration form in advance for approval by Student Life ($100)

Additional Funds - Fall & Spring Semester $400
RSO can earn funds above the base amount each Fall and Spring semester by completing the following:
- Attend SGA Meetings, (participate in meetings via Skype, or President verifies that minutes have been read and shares relevant information with RSO members (4/semester at  $50/meeting=$200)
- Host membership recruitment event each semester ($50)
- Assist with 1 Student Life event each semester (must plan in advance with Coordinator, Student Life and have a minimum of 5 members for duration of event) ($50)
- Complete a community service project (must submit Event Registration form in advance for approval by Student Life ($100)
