LSC-Montgomery Student Ambassadors
The purpose of the Lone Star College-Montgomery Student Ambassadors organization is to: * Promote all aspects of LSC-Montgomery and the Lone Star College System among future, current, and past students and the community.
* Serve as a liaison between LSC-Montgomery and prospective students.
* Aid, assist and support LSC-Montgomery and the Lone Star College System at public functions, community events, and campus and district-wide events.
Eligibility:
In order to be considered for a Student Ambassador position at LSC-Montgomery, an applicant must:
* Be a student in good standing at LSC-Montgomery.
* Be taking credit classes at LSC-Montgomery toward a degree or planning to transfer to a four-year university.
* Have good communication skills.
* Have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
* Be able to commit 10 hours per month to service activities.
* Be available for bi-weekly meetings Wednesday 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
* Be dependable.
