Lone Star College Flood Relief Assistance

The Lone Star College Foundation has created a fund to assist student and employee flood victims. Lone Star College Flood Relief Assistance is another resource that can help.

Lone Star Legal Aid

Wednesday, April 27 in B-102
1:30 p.m. & 5:30 p.m.
Legal services to help disaster victims. Private, free consultations for those who meet eligibility requirements, are available after each session. LSC-Conroe Center will be included via technology.

  • Monetary donations also accepted by the LSC Foundation
  • Montgomery County Food Bank is requesting $10 donations. Donations can be sent via texting “MCFB” to 45777 or online at mcfoodbank.org

Volunteers will provide:

  • Necessities to students, faculty, and staff impacted by the flood
  • Resource handouts and the form for LSC Foundation grant
  • Partner with LSC-Montgomery food pantry

Volunteers will also:

  • Take donations
  • Manage the “sign-in” sheet
Phi Theta Kappa is also encouraging members to participate in donation packaging activities. The following dates/times have been identified:

April 22, noon-2 p.m. in F-114
April 25, 3-5 p.m.
April 26, 10 a.m.-noon
April 28 1 p.m.-3 p.m.

Volunteers should meet at the Flood Relief Center, unless otherwise indicated, and will be directed to the packaging area from there. PTK will use the email roster to broadcasts these and other times volunteers are needed to sort and package items.
