Dr. Susie Hsieh was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland before joining Lone Star College as full time faculty in 2005.

Christina Leone has taught at Cypress Ridge High School and Carl Wunsche Senior High School Career Academy. She joined Lone Star College as adjunct faculty in 2011 and became full time faculty in 2014.

Rebecca Malter started teaching Transitional English at Lone Star College-Fairbanks in 2007. She began her teaching career in 2005 at Lee College in Baytown, Texas, where she was involved with Project Leeway, a program designed to help non-traditional students transition into college.

Sophia Mrouri was a James Madison Fellow at Georgetown University. She has taught at American Military University and the University of St. Thomas. She joined the faculty at Lone Star College in 2002.

Stacy Oberle was a graduate assistant teacher at Texas A&M University in College Station and a faculty member at Blinn College in Brenham before joining Lone Star College. She joined Lone Star College as full time faculty in 2010.

Irina Patten

Irina Patten has taught languages since 1991. She taught EFL and German in Ukraine before coming to Florida in 1999. Her experience in the U.S. includes teaching ESOL at Daytona Beach Community College, Florida, and at Lone Star College-Fairbanks Center. She has been an ESOL full-time faculty at the Fairbanks Center since January 2005.
