The Office of Institutional Research & Effectiveness (OIRE) provides support for decision making system-wide. This involves the development of comprehensive systems of information, planning and evaluation that can be used to document how well LSCS is fulfilling its mission. Information is available about students, staff, classes and our community.

Mission

The purpose of the Lone Star College System Office of Institutional Research & Effectiveness is to provide system-wide leadership

To ensure that information and analysis are available to support decision-making at the system level

To promote the development of the institutional research function at the colleges

To coordinate institutional effectiveness processes (planning, evaluation, assessment) at the system level
