Go to www.lonestar.edu and click on the My Records (Stargazer) logo towards the bottom of the page under the list of campuses.

Click on “Get ID and password”, located towards the top right corner. If you do not see the "Get ID and Password" link, click the link to 'Main Menu' and this will display the link. Enter your last name, social security number, and zip-code. (You need to enter the information that the college has on file for you) Leave the birth date field blank. Click “Submit” one time. Do not double click. (If you double click you will get an error message) MyRecords will now give you your login ID and tell you that your password has been reset to your date of birth in “mmddyy” format. (Example: September 19, 1979 would be 091979). Click on “OK”. Click on “Log in”. Enter the ID and password that you were just given. Click “Submit” one time. (Do not double click) Once you click submit, you will be told that your password has expired. You need to think of a password that is at least 6 characters but no more than 9 characters.
You must use both letters and numbers.
- enter your ID
- enter your Old Password (date of birth)
- enter your new password on the line that says “new password” and on the line that says “confirm new password”.
You do not have to enter a password hint but you may if you choose to.
