Whether you are teaching online classes or looking for ways to integrate technology into your traditionally delivered classes, the Lone Star College System Center for Teaching & Distance Learning (CTDL) staff can help! We provide a variety of services including consulting, instructional design, instructional support, and training. We are also responsible for WebCT functions such as creating courses, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and eCollege login account management.
The mission of the Center for Teaching & Distance Learning (CTDL) is:
- to provide professional development activities for Lone Star College System faculty seeking to utilize instructional technology
- to provide support for Lone Star College System faculty who are currently teaching classes using instructional technology
- to provide support for students who are enrolled or are considering enrollment in Lone Star College System classes utilizing instructional technology
- to provide the planning structure and coordination for a comprehensive, district-wide distance learning program.
