• Coyote Connections program helps incoming freshmen at LSC-Kingwood - April 27, 2012
  Recent high school graduates who need a boost in math or English before they enter college this fall are encouraged to enroll soon in the Coyote Connections program. The first session begins June 11 and the second begins July 9.
• LSC-Kingwood’s Dance Program invites community to 2012 spring concert - April 27, 2012
  LSC-Kingwood’s Dance Department proudly presents its spring dance concert, "Relationships", at the Performing Arts Theatre on Wednesday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. The performance is a culmination of the semester’s work by faculty, students, and invited guests from the community.
• LSC-Kingwood features new playwrights’ work at annual production - April 12, 2012
  Brief drama pieces are guaranteed to entertain the audience at LSC-Kingwood’s “An Evening of Shorts” April 19-22. The sixth annual “An Evening of Shorts” is an original play festival where all works are written, directed, performed and designed by LSC-Kingwood students, staff and community members.
• LSC-Kingwood invites community to spring art show - April 04, 2012
  LSC-Kingwood art students will display their projects at the college’s annual Spring Student Art Show April 19-May 2 in the Fine Arts Gallery. The juried show will feature the works of approximately 75 students in photography, 2-D (Design I, Design III and Drawing) and 3-D (ceramics).
• Summer camp provides a fun, educational environment at LSC-Kingwood - April 04, 2012
  LSC-Kingwood’s 2012 Discovery College will have a multitude of fun and educational activities to keep children ages 6-17 entertained this summer. The program begins Monday June 4 through Thursday, Aug. 4. Students may register for Discovery College courses in person in CLA 107.
• Register for fall 2012 courses at LSC-Kingwood - March 30, 2012
  Current and potential students can register through myLoneStar for fall 2012 classes at LSC-Kingwood beginning April 10th. Courses are designed to fit a broad range of academic goals toward certificates, degrees or university transfer. The fall semester begins August 27th.
• LSC-Kingwood students to create free marketing tools at 9th Annual Design-A-Thon - March 30, 2012
  Lone Star College-Kingwood’s Visual Communications program is lending services and resources to create a variety of free marketing pieces for local non-profit organizations through the 9th annual Design-A-Thon on April 13 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Dental Hygiene Seminar held at Lone Star College-Kingwood - March 23, 2012
  In keeping dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and students in the field up-to-date on changes throughout the past 30 years, LSC-Kingwood’s Dental Hygiene program and CE department will host  a course on HIV/AIDS and Emerging Oral Cancers. This seminar is April 27 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Women’s Center helps students, community at LSC-Kingwood - March 23, 2012
  Inside Lone Star College-Kingwood’s Student-Conference Center is a new program that is geared toward connecting women with resources and personnel who can help them achieve their goals. The Women’s Center will help the college’s female students as well as women of all ages in the community.
• LSC-Kingwood invites community to fashion forward event - March 09, 2012
  Community members, students, faculty and staff are invited to the free New Beginnings Fashion Show on March 27 at 12:30 p.m. in the Student-Conference Center. At Lone Star College-Kingwood’s New Beginnings Fashion Show, the goal is to show the unique and diverse talents possessed by student clubs.
