What type of event is BCBF?
It is a fun indoor/outdoor book festival for book lovers of all ages located at the various Lone Star College campuses. We offer food trucks, writing workshops, exhibitors, free programming for adults and children, readings, author signings, and panels or readings from our authors.
Who may attend?
When is the festival?
The festival takes place from April 3-6, 2017 between the hours of 3:00-8:00 pm. Then, there is a day-long event on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Please check our schedule, available in March, for a list of events, locations, and times.
What is the price of admission?
The festival is free; however, memberships, which include special perks, are available for purchase.
Where is the festival located?
During the week of April 3-8, 2017, the festival rotates. Each day, the festival will be at a different Lone Star College campus. Please check our schedule, available in March, for a list of events, locations, and times.
Where can I park?
Parking will be available on each campus or on the street. Both options are free.
Are there places to eat?
Yes, food trucks will be available with food for purchase.
Are there restrooms available?
Yes, each campus building has restrooms open to the public.
Where can I find a festival site map, event guide, or schedule for the festival?
Information is provided on our website and will be available for pickup at information tables around the book festival. You can also find our schedule online in March.
