CARE for Completion: Clothing

Sometimes having access to appropriate clothing for school or an upcoming interview can be a challenge. As a student you can receive support through Communities in Schools of Houston or one of our many Career Closets. Students can receive donated clothes, shoes and accessories, which have been carefully selected to ensure quality and suitability. We want to make sure that all students feel confident and comfortable in their appearance so they can focus on achieving their educational goals.

LSC-CyFair: Communities In Schools of Houston

An on-campus service that connects students to Emergency needs (food, shelter, clothing) as well as counseling services and crisis intervention. The goal of this program is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

The Career Closet at The Empowerment Center
Center provides support for students who have a scheduled job interview, but have nothing appropriate to wear and are unable to purchase the needed items. For questions about The Career Closet at The Empowerment Center, please email CF-EmpowermentCenter@lonestar.edu or visit The Empowerment Center in CASA 121. If The Empowerment Center is not open, please contact CF-EmpowermentCenter@lonestar.edu to drop off your clothing donation.

Assistance Request Form
LSC-Houston North has been working to provide C.A.R.E. Program assistance to their students in need. Services include clothing, financial, food, housing, counseling, technology, textbook, and tutition assistance. Please submit your request using the link above. You will be contacted in 1 to 2 business days upon receiving request.

Dress for Success Career Closet
The LSC Montgomery Dress for Success Career Closet provides professional attire and accessories to students to help them look their best for interviews, career fairs, and other professional experiences. Contact or visit the TRAC Center upstairs in Building C for assistance. TRAC@lonestar.edu

LSC-Online (Off-Campus Resources): Community Assistance Center
At the Community Assistance Center, we build strong relationships with our clients and their families by doing an individualized assessment of their specific needs during a time of instability. We access community resources, establish recovery goals, and provide opportunities to learn valuable workforce skills in order to establish a stronger foundation to train our clients to support themselves and their families.

Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM)
