The purpose of Compliance Management is to ensure that Lone Star College is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Compliance Management creates a pro-active operational structure that outlines and documents compliance efforts to maximize effectiveness by:
Increasing awareness and knowledge of compliance.
Enhancing communication and collaboration efforts among College functional content areas on compliance related issues.
Establishing and documenting processes for tracking, monitoring, and reporting compliance items.
Promoting a culture of compliance.
Compliance Review Committee
The Office of Governance, Audit, and Compliance (OGAC) in collaboration with other LSC Divisions sponsors a compliance review committee to leverage existing efforts and foster collaboration amongst functional content areas to ensure that Lone Star College is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies that govern College-wide operations.
