The Black Male Summit encourages black male high school students to pursue their education. This year’s program features motivational speakers Derek Felton, Ron Johnson and Eldridge Broussard from CoolSpeak.

Lone Star College-North Harris, part of the Lone Star College System, is passionate about providing quality educational opportunities for the successful development of knowledge, skills and attitudes for a rapidly changing world. At all levels, educational institutions across the country are coordinating activities to promote multi-level success for African American males.

LSC-North Harris hosted its first Black Male Summit in 2008, receiving tremendous, postive feedback from both organizers and student participants. It has since become an annual event for the college.
