Construction Updates

During the next two years, Lone Star College-Montgomery is poised for the most significant campus expansion in its history. The passage of the bond referendum in 2008 includes the construction of three new buildings on our campus (plus a much-needed parking garage!), as well as a new state-of-the-art satellite center (LSC-Conroe Center) in the Conroe/Willis area.

Stay tuned to this Construction Update page, as we will use this site to keep you updated with more specific timelines, upcoming events, new photos, and things like closures, interruptions or areas of campus to avoid at certain times.

Groundbreaking Events

• LSC-Conroe Center groundbreaking event Friday, January 29.
  Directions to the New LSC-Conroe Center:
  From Points South:Take I-45 north through Conroe. Exit Teas Nursery Road (FM 3083 - Exit 90). Turn right (east) on FM 3083 and go approximately 2 miles to Pollok Drive on left (it will be the first left after the RR tracks). Take a left on Pollok and a right on N. Conroe Park Drive. The groundbreaking site is straight ahead.
  
  From Points North: Take I-45 south toward Conroe. Exit Teas Nursery Road (FM 3083 - Exit 90). Turn left (east) on FM 3083 and go over the freeway. Continue on FM 3083 approximately 2 miles to Pollok Drive on left (it will be the first left after the RR tracks). Take a left on Pollok and a right on N. Conroe Park Drive. The groundbreaking site is straight ahead.
  
• Large groundbreaking event Friday, November 20, at noon for the three buildings being constructed on campus (health science building, music building, general academic building).
• Parking Garage groundbreaking Friday, September 18, 2009, at noon.
