Curriculum & Instruction

The Curriculum and Instruction department provides support to and works in collaboration with the LSCS colleges to continually strengthen instruction and related programs and services. Committees are utilized to oversee and develop recommendations regarding instructional issues.  Leadership is provided through the Council for Academic and Student Affairs (CASA) and the Vice Presidents of Instruction Council.  Curriculum and Instruction provides oversight and coordination for:

• credit curriculum development,
• core curriculum,
• program review,
• credit class schedules,
• system catalog,
• dual credit program,
• Perkins Grant
• prior learning assessment,
• service learning,
• international programs and services,
• Health Occupations

The Curriculum and Instruction department is led by Dr. Linda Luehrs-Wolfe, Associate Vice Chancellor, who serves as the instructional liaison to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB).
