Continuing Education in Driver's Education

Teen Driver Education Program
This class is designed for students who are between 15-17 yrs. old and wish to get a Texas Driver’s Permit.  This class will prepare students for the Texas drivers permit examination administered through the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).  A DE-964E form, required by DPS, will be issued to students who successfully complete this course.  This course satisfies the 32 hours in-classroom instruction required by the state of Texas for a student to apply for a Texas Driver’s Permit.  Students will only be allowed to make-up a total of 3 missed class sessions.  The make-up sessions will be at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled end date, as students can not be in class for more than 2 hours per training session. Student is required to purchase a book (Texas Traffic Safety Education Student Manual) at a cost of $17+ tax at the campus bookstore as well as the DPS handbook at the DPS office.
