In an effort to assist our students and employees affected by the recent flooding during Tropical Storm Imelda, the Chancellor’s Office has created a fund at Lone Star College Foundation to help.  Recently, a donor very generously added to our flood relief efforts.

Where should I apply for aid?

When is the deadline to apply?

The applications will remain open until Friday, October 25, 2019 with the intent to make funding decisions by the end of the month.

Who is eligible to apply for aid?

1) Full and part time employees (from any LSC location)

2) Full time and part time students (from any LSC location or online) who are taking at least one class in the Fall 2019 semester. Students need to log into myLoneStar and confirm that their contact information is up to date.

3) Students & employees cannot submit applications on behalf of family members or friends.

4) Student workers should apply as a student, you CANNOT apply to both.

How will students & employees receive the aid?

The Office of Financial Aid will distribute the aid directly into the student’s account. Employees will be mailed a check to their residence or campus business office. Submitting an application is not a guarantee of funding.
