Government Affairs & Institutional Advancement
The office of Government and External Affairs works to foster healthy relationships with the community and all levels of government. The office serves as the primary liaison between the college community and governments on all levels, connecting governments to the many services offered by the Lone Star College System and issues critical to Lone Star’s strategic goals.
In addition, the office identifies leadership and scholarship opportunities for the Lone Star College students, faculty, staff and alumnae. It also facilitates policy discussion, debate, and action across the College and in partnership with the broader community.
Community Leadership Institute
The Community Leadership Institute at Lone Star College System includes comprehensive inter-generational leadership development curriculum made of up five flagship programs that target different leadership groups but together provide a unique combination of civic leadership development, civic education, civic engagement and networking opportunities for leaders at all levels.
Lone Star College Foundation
The Lone Star College Foundation's mission is to change lives through student scholarships and quality educational programs achieved by excellence in relationship building, fundraising, and investment management.
Established as a 501(c)(3) Type I corporation, the LSC Foundation secures and manages unrestricted and restricted assets to support and enrich the academic and scholarship programs of LSCS.
Resource Development & Grants Administration
The Resource Development and Administration Office (RDA) is here to assist in grant development and management of awarded grants.
Our goal is to identify funding opportunities and develop resources to support programs through external funding.
Small Business Development Center
The LSC-SBDC works with existing companies to help them get started, grow and compete in today's global economy. SBDC services are available for companies in every phase of the business life cycle, helping entrepreneurs make sound decisions and succeed.
