Office of Water -- dedicated to protecting the earth's water resources, EPA's Office of Water covers a wide variety of topics, including coral reefs, beach water quality,and fish consumption advisories. See especially the Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water which includes local drinking water information and methods of protecting drinking water sources.

Pollution/Waste Control

Green Vehicle Guide -- provides tools to help consumers choose fuel-efficient and clean vehicles.
HazDat Database -- this database was developed to provide access to information on the release of hazardous substances from Superfund sites or from emergency events and on the effects of hazardous substances on the health of human populations. Site is managed by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry.
Office of Solid Waste -- from the EPA, the Office of Solid Waste manages industrial and special waste, municipal solid waste, and hazardous waste. Methods of reducing and better managing wastes are included.
Superfund: 20th Anniversary Report
Toxic Release Inventory -- from the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Pollution Prevention & Toxics, Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) provides information about chemicals that are being used manufactured, treated, transported, or released into the environment.
