Finding Books, Electronic Books, Web Sites, and Audio-Visuals

Use the online library catalog to find books, e-books, internet sites, and A/V materials on business. Our catalog searches 2.5 million items at all LSCS colleges, Harris County libraries, and Montgomery County Libraries. You can access the catalog from the library computers or from home by going to our homepage http://www.lonestar.edu/library/. One of the easiest and most comprehensive ways to search is by “Keyword”, this search will look for your terms anywhere in the title, author, and description.

Finding Articles in Electronic Magazines, Newspapers, and Journals

This library subscribes to over 1300 business-related magazines, newspapers, and journals. You can search for specific journals by title in A-Z Ebsco (journal locator) found on our homepage. You can also search multiple journals at the same time by using one of our electronic databases.

Print Magazines, Newspapers, and Journals

Almost all the periodicals on the 2nd floor of the library may be checked out. Only the current issues of the print periodicals on the 1st floor do not check out. You can also search for more titles in the catalog. Periodicals not found at this library can be obtained usually within a week through inter-library loan (ILL).
