Weekly Activities

Baby Time is a year-round program on Mondays at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. For children 6–24 months old, it features books, fingerplays, songs, and movement. Limited to 25 children each session.

Moving Mondays is a summer program on Mondays at 2:00 p.m. (starting June 10). For children 3-12 years old, we will travel to a different locale each week. Limited to 100 children.

Hindi Storytime is a new summer program on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. For children 2-6 years old, it features stories, songs, fingerplays, and occasional crafts. Limited to 35 children.

Family Storytime are year-round programs on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. For children 2-7 years old, it features stories, songs, fingerplays, and occasional crafts. Limited to 35 children.

Toddler Time is a year-round program on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. For children 2 to 3 ½ years old, it features books, fingerplays, songs, movement and occasional crafts. Limited to 35 children each session.

Tween Tuesdays is a summer program on Tuesdays beginning June 11 at 2:00 p.m. For children 8-12 years old, it features a different activity each week. Limited to 35 children.

Preschool Storytime is a year-round program on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. For children 3-6 years old, it features stories, songs, fingerplays and occasional crafts. Limited to 35 children per session.

Spanish Storytime is a summer program on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. For children 2-6 years old, it features stories, songs, fingerplays, and occasional crafts. Limited to 35 children per session.

Cool Kids Crafts is a year-round program on Thursdays at 2:00 p.m. (summer only) and 5:00 p.m. For children 3-12 years old during the summer months. Limited to 35 children per session.

Game Night is a year-round program on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. For children 4-12. Limited to 35 children.

Please Note:

• All children's programs are ticketed (except book clubs). Tickets for programs are free and available 1 hour prior to the program at the children’s reference desk. 
• Tickets are limited to the numbers listed below and are available on a first-come basis starting 1 hour prior to the start of the program.
• To provide the best programming for your child(ren), no late comers will be admitted 10 minutes after the start of the programs.
• We do require that 1 child per family be within the age range of the program in order to attend.
• Tickets will be given out to the child(ren) within the age range and siblings can attend as a guest that day. Should a craft be offered, we do ask that one only craft project be taken by the ticketed child. 
• All day care groups interested in attending a Wednesday program must contact Melanie Metzger at 281.290.3211.
• Information for Persons with Disabilities  - Harris County Public Library will make reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities who are interested in attending library programs. To make a request for yourself or someone you know, please notify the Branch Librarian two working days in advance of the program.
