Lone Star College’s Middle School to College (M2C) program is an early outreach initiative offering free college prep workshops and mentoring, along with college scholarships, for eligible African-American and Hispanic 6th grade male students entering in the seventh grade. The program commitment is through high school graduation.
M2C workshops and culturally specific programs are held throughout the academic year to help students achieve the goal of earning a college degree. Students, along with their parents, must attend M2C workshops. By so doing, students will be eligible for a full scholarship to Lone Star College upon successful graduation from high school.
The M2C program currently has 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grade students from CyFair ISD (CFISD) at the LSC-CyFair campus and Conroe ISD (CISD) students at the LSC-Montgomery campus.
