The Lone Star College-University Park Mathematics department offers quality mathematics education to all students. The department aims to prepare students with the skills and concepts required for their course of study and to develop critical thinking, problem solving and mathematical knowledge. 

Mathematics courses are available in an Engineering or Medical track, a Business track, and a Liberal Arts track. These courses satisfy all associate degree requirements.

Developmental Mathematics courses develop and polish necessary math skills to prepare students for success in college-level courses.

All Mathematics and Developmental Mathematics courses are taught by diverse, highly qualified faculty members and offered in face-to-face, fully online and hybrid formats. For those who need additional flexibility, LSC-University Park also offers these courses in the evenings and Saturdays.
