Welcome to the Math Lab!
The LSC-Kingwood Math Lab is ready to assist any LSC student. We are here to help with course content so that you can achieve success in your math course. We are committed to supporting you in achieving academic success, persistence in college courses, and retention of mathematical skills. We believe students can develop a deeper understanding of course concepts, by reinforcing essential study skills and encourage independent learning. Students enrolled at LSC are encouraged to use the tutoring location that works best for you – regardless of the course location. This includes students enrolled in online mathematics courses and dual credit students. All students visiting the Math Lab must have a current LSC Student ID or be a Dual Credit High School student with a current LSC Student ID.
The LSC-Kingwood Math Lab is here to help you reach your educational goals – so come see us! Remember that ALL tutoring services in the Learning Support Labs of LSC-Kingwood are FREE!

Returning Spring 2019!
The LSC-Kingwood Math Lab plans to offer mathematical content seminars covering a variety of topics and presented by LSC faculty or staff, tutors or other professionals. We plan to have one seminar each month based on our theme for the academic year. Days and times as well as our theme is to be determined, so please check back soon (Spring 2019) for additional information.
Math Lab Tutors
Our tutors are retired instructors and/or professionals, former students as well as students currently enrolled at LSC. All LSCS tutors are required to be certified by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) through level 1. This certification provides tutors with recognition and positive reinforcement from a national tutoring organization that identifies minimum standards and training necessary for successful tutoring.
