Accounting Club to Feature Former Member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors

Montgomery College accounting club members, along with the candidates for the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam, invite both students and the community to attend their second meeting of the 2007-2008 year.

Bill Sherrill, chairman, program director and professor of the C.T. Bauer School of Business, and former member of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, will present the topic “Sub-prime Lending Market and its Effect on the Economy." The speaking event will take place on Friday, October 12, in building B, room 102, at 6:30 p.m. There will be refreshments provided before and after the event.

The Montgomery College accounting club meets monthly and provides its members with an industry speaker to promote knowledge of the accounting profession. The club members provide support to each other while seeking CPA certification, and networking opportunities upon completion of the CPA program at the college.
