LSC-Carver Center to Host Free “Recession Connection to Earning Power,” Event June 17

Lone Star College-Carver Center is hosting a free “Recession Connection to Earning Power,” workshop on June 17, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the center’s gallery. Two outstanding speakers will bring valuable motivational and resource information to workshop participants. Refreshments will be served.  

 

Don Ball with Small Business Development Center will discuss “Entrepreneurship,” which will include:  what resources are available at the Small Business Development Center; how to decide whether a business is for you; how to start a business during a recession; types of businesses to start during a recession; why a recession is a good time to start a company; and how to make sure your business doesn’t fail.

 

Dr. Kozi Sidney Makai, author and owner of Sidney Makai Worldwide will discuss and sign copies of his books “Beating the Odds” and “How Can I Come Up?”
