Ambassador Kamal presentation March 20

Mark your calendar for March 20 to hear Ambassador Ahmad Kamal present “Pakistan and its Strategic Importance” at Lone Star College-CyFair.

A community reception will be held at 2 p.m. March 20 in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress Campus. Following the reception, Ambassador Kamal will give a presentation at 2:45 p.m. in the Main Stage Theatre on the strategic importance of Pakistan.

A professional diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan for 40 years, Ambassador Kamal has held diplomatic posts in India, France, Soviet Union, Saudi Arabia and Republic of Korea and has been a permanent representative of Pakistan to the United Nations for 10 years.

Ambassador Kamal will also address students and faculty during his two day visit at LSC-CyFair. This visit is part of an effort to help broaden the horizons of students; expand their awareness of the world community and to introduce them to the international arena, which is their future work place, said Dr. Jim Brown, LSC-CyFair, political science professor. Audiences will gain new and valuable global perspectives and insights in bridging differences among nations.
