Published on: May 09, 2007Lone Star College-Kingwood's Performing Arts Department will present Alan Bennett's musical adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's The Wind in the Willows, directed by Eric C. Skiles. The play features Badger, Rat, Mole and Toad of Toad Hall, who will delight audiences of all ages and leave them laughing and humming along with the denizens of the Wild Wood and beyond.
The cast, which will be portraying the characters through voice and body and not in full animal costume, is comprised of Colin Allen, Jenna Buscemi, Allison Butler, Mayra Caravantes, Belle Diaz, Kiki Hortman, Josh Goines, Veronica LaCombe, Jordan Real, Kristen Treuil, Carlencia Woods, Travis Worden and John Wyatt.
The Wind in the Willows will be presented at the SFA Performing Arts Theatre, Thursday, May 17 and Friday, May 18 at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.; Saturday, May 19 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, May 20 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 for all ages. For more information and reservations call 281-312-1532.
The show will be going on the road for a performance on May 22 as part of the Dayton Independent School District's Partners with Parents event. The performance will be held in Nottingham Auditorium beginning at 7 p.m.
