As a major benefit for students and community members, Lone Star College-Conroe Center has partnered with Pearson VUE to become an approved on-site testing center, equipped to provide convenient computer-based testing solutions for those seeking certification or professional licensure exams.

“We are very excited about our partnership with Pearson VUE because it is the most powerful testing system available,” said Dr. Roberto Rodriguez, director of LSC-Conroe Center. “We’re pleased to partner with a company whose breakthrough technology and passion for service allow us to provide an even greater service for our students and the community.”

Operating in 165 countries, Pearson VUE provides secure electronic testing services that allow candidates to become certified in a multitude of workforce areas including health and medicine, information technology, human resources and safety, real estate and appraisal.

Testing through Pearson VUE allows a person to add credibility to their resume, increase their competitive edge, and prove their comprehensive understanding of their profession.

“We are proud to welcome LSC-Conroe Center to the rapidly growing global network of authorized Pearson VUE testing centers that are able to provide candidates with an opportunity to participate in a positive, rewarding test experience,” said Randy Trask, vice president of market development for Pearson VUE.

At LSC-Conroe Center, some of the many Pearson VUE testing subjects available include Adobe, Altiris, BMC Software, Cisco Systems, CompTIA, IBM/Lotus/Tivoli, Linux Professional Institute, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Siemens, Veritas, and more. Testing results are quickly transmitted back, ensuring the candidate’s certification status is updated promptly.

In addition to professional certification exams, LSC-Conroe Center offers the same testing services as the LSC-Montgomery campus including GED, Compass testing for traditional students seeking placement for college-level coursework, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) testing, and general academic testing.

All test candidates can register and schedule their tests at LSC-Conroe Center. In addition, Pearson VUE test candidates can register and schedule their tests on the Pearson VUE Web site or through a Pearson VUE call center.
