If you have ever thought about the cup you drink from or the tiles in your bathroom, ceramics could be your new canvas.
If you are interested in ceramics, but don’t know where to begin, Lone Star College-North Harris is offering a workshop designed to introduce students to a few of the possibilities with clay. In just two days, build, decorate, and glaze your own ceramic forms as well as experience the raku firing process. Class is set for Saturdays, Nov. 21 and Nov. 28, 9 a.m. to noon. This ceramics workshop is open to all skill levels. Workshop fees are $46.00/$38.00 for senior citizens. A $6.25 materials fee (per student) will be collected on the first day.
