“Stress, Creativity and the Brain” talk set Oct. 14

Join the lively discussion on “Stress, Creativity and the Brain” at the Oct. 14 Millennium Humanities Forum at Lone Star College-CyFair.

These forums are designed to affirm the relevance of the humanities in the context of contemporary issues and global transformation.

Using the humanities as a framework of values, expert faculty, students, and community members will share ideas and clarify issues of concern.

Mark the calendar for the last fall forum Xenophobia: Is It Contagious - Wednesday, Nov. 18. Three spring forums are also planned for Feb. 10, March 24 and April 21, 2010.

All forums will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Conference Center. Snacks and beverages will be served.

The forums are part of the Windows On the World program, which is designed to support teaching, cultural diversity and lifelong learning to enrich LSC-CyFair as well as the surrounding community.
