LSC-North Harris Academy of Lifelong Learning (ALL) set November Schedule of Activities

The Buffalo Soldiers have an inspiring story of bravery and dignity that has been the tradition of fighting men and women throughout history.  Take a day trip to explore Buffalo Soldiers National Museum founded to preserve, promote and perpetuate the history, tradition and outstanding contributions of African-American soldiers.  Bring $3 exact cash for the Buffalo Soldier Museum tour.  After lunch at the Cleburne Cafeteria (Dutch treat), for $5 more tour the Weather Museum which will amaze you with the latest in weather, and forecasting changes. This is just one of the exciting adventures and classes offered through the Lone Star College-North Harris Academy of Lifelong Learning. ALL is a membership community which provides free or low-cost, leisure learning classes and activities designed for Seniors 50+ years of age.  A yearly membership fee of $20 is required to register for classes.  For more information call 281.618.5602.

Nov.13:            Kennedy Assassination: Allen Vogt will present evidence through books, posters, video, & transparencies to explore some of the prevailing theories.  Friday, 10 a.m. to noon, room WNSP-183, registration #16405.   

Nov.14:            Handgun Proficiency Right-to-Carry:  This course fulfills the minimum 10 hours of educational requirements by Texas Department of Public Safety to apply for a concealed handgun license.  Saturday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. For fee information call 281.540.1160.  Class meets at Sportsman’s Outlet, 1710 FM 1960 Bypass E., Humble Texas.
