Lone Star College-Kingwood’s nursing program held a pinning ceremony Dec. 9 for 66 students. The ceremony signifies that students are prepared to take their state board exams. Once they pass, they are eligible to enter the nursing field to assist and take care of patients.
The Respiratory Care and Dental Hygiene programs at Lone Star College-Kingwood held a graduation/pinning ceremony for 17 respiratory care students and one dental hygiene student who have completed the two-year programs on Dec. 9. The graduation ceremony acknowledges the completion of the collegial entry-level training and the beginning of life-long learning for the graduates.
