Kingwood Chorale Kicks Off Their 19th Season

On Saturday, Nov.17, the Kingwood Chorale and Chamber Orchestra will kick-off their 19th season with a performance at the First Presbyterian Church of Kingwood located at 5520 Kingwood Drive. Small Baroque Works by the BIG THREE will begin at 7:30 p.m. and feature masterpieces by Bach, Handel, and Vivaldi.

The Kingwood Chorale and Chamber Orchestra are set to perform Vivaldi's Magnificat, Handel's Utrecht Te Deum, and Bach's Cantata 140: ‘Wachet Auf'.

On Saturday, Dec. 1 the Kingwood Chorale will partner with the Kingwood Big Band for a Holiday kick-off concert. This fun event will feature holiday classics and jazzed up arrangements beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Kings Harbor located at 4630 Magnolia Cove Drive.

The Kingwood Chorale is comprised of community members as well as Lone Star College-Kingwood students and has been professionally recorded and featured on KUHF Classical Radio. Under the baton of Dr. Todd Miller, the Chorale has flourished and grown to more than 70 members and continues the tradition of enriching the cultural arts of Kingwood through classical music events.
