(March 15, 2010) – Lone Star College System will be holding a “Sneak Peek” event at its five colleges on April 6 to allow residents an up-close look at LSCS.

The Sneak Peek will be held from 5-8 p.m. at all five colleges – LSC-CyFair, LSC-Kingwood, LSC-Montgomery, LSC-North Harris, and LSC-Tomball – and will feature free food, t-shirts and other giveaways while the supplies last.

“This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in Lone Star College to stop by and learn more about us,” said Deanne Chandler, director of community outreach and recruitment for LSCS. “You will be able to meet the friendly Lone Star College people, take tours of the campuses, and get more information about the programs and courses that are offered.”

In addition to the tours, LSCS personnel will also be on hand to offer assistance for signing up for financial aid and will be available to help those interested in filling out a college application. Students will also be able to register for classes as part of this Sneak Peek event.

“This will be a fun event, and it will also be very informative,” said Chandler. Those interested can visit the college nearest them for the Sneak Peek.
