In todays job market, any advantage can make all the difference and becoming a Microsoft Office expert is one way to make a resume stand out. Now, thanks to the Lone Star College-North Harris continuing education program, it can be done from the comforts of home.
The four online classes offer in-depth instruction in a particular Microsoft Office program: Access, Excel, PowerPoint or Word. In addition to being available online, the courses can be started anytime and completed in just 12 weeks.
Each class prepares students for the Microsoft Office Specialist or Certified Application Specialist exams. As a certified specialist, students can broaden their employment opportunities and increase their earning potential. The cost for each class is $297 and they are available for 2003 or 2007 versions of the programs.
